Sight seeing around Dresden

Pictures from my last day in Dresden on Monday before traveling to Leipzig the following morning.Dresden was gorgeous city that felt old even though most of the city had to be rebuilt after the 1945 firing bombing. Its amazing to think how much time and dedication went into rebuilding Dresden after the war end.
A picture of the front of the hotel I stayed at in Dresden

It was a gorgeous morning in Dresden

A statue of Martin Luther

Entrance to the stallhof known in English as the stables courtyard

A side view of the stable courtyard

The back end of the stable courtyard

Another view of the stable courtyard

A close up of the back of the stable courtyard

I liked this giant wood door in the stable courtyard

Looking outside the courtyard
The beginning of the mural. It says "A prince's ruling during this heroic run extends to our days as it is said in the past, he went on with our people.

The Furstenzug known in English as the Procession of Princes. It is a  mural made from Messiaen porcelain tiles. It shows all 35 rulers of the Wettin Dynasty (1127-1904)
The end of the mural it say, "Your families line has always been renowned by noble princes, as all of your time you consecrate the old German folk way of life.
